What is a trip to Destin without a trip to Crab Island. With waters staying warm well into late fall this is a must visit. Lots of fun with plenty of ways to visit the island. Many companies in the area have charters to private boat rentals to get to the island. Great way to spend a day in Destin!

One of our personal favorites! We make it a point to visit the dive shop each time we go to the coast! Great for anyone wanting to go on a dive or two while visiting! Located in the heart of Destin this is the premier dive shop. Go see the dive boat the “Aquanot” that was in the movie JAWS 2 down at the harbor across the street from where the dive shop is located. They have lots of dive gear and apparel. Be sure to tell them we sent you!

Great for a morning trip out towards crab island, shelling tours along the bay, look for dolphins while on your way to finished the trip snorkeling by the Jetties in the mouth of the bay. An affordable activity we have done multiple times in Destin! A must do with the whole family. Most trips are four hours long and are kid friendly. They provide all that you need for one of the best snorkel experiences for the whole family. Check them out!

Who doesn’t like a good arcade and go kart track? This is our favorite one! Lots of great games with mini golf to the wild woody go kart track. A great way to cap a night off whether it is a date night or just a night out with the whole family.

After playing a round of mini golf stop in the arcade to play some games followed by ice cream at the ice cream shop located just outside the front door! Fun for the whole family and located in the heart of Fort Walton’s parkway across from the famous beach boardwalk filled with restaurants and shops.
